FAMILY PRACTICE, DIAGNOSIS AND CHECK-UP CENTER
MEDLAB is a primary care
center that operates with a careful approach to the
common health problems in a warm atmosphere.
Family
practice unit and the diagnosis units are the main units of the center.
MEDLAB
was founded in 1993 and gives service over 30.000 people
per year.

LABORATORY UNIT : Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical
Microbiology, Clinical Hematology, Clinical Serology
RADIOLOGY
UNIT : Conventional
Radiology, Ultrasonography, Mammography, Bone Mineral Densitometry
CARDIOLOGY
UNIT : ECG ( electrocardiography
), Effort Test, Holter ( ECG ) / Ambulatuar
BP Monitoring, Echocardiography
OTHER TESTS : Respiratory
Function Test (screening), Pathology ( smear )
Family practice unit :
The
family doctors, perform the physical examinations, give medical
counselling, diagnose, treat and
follow their patients.
They plan general health control programmes
according to the complaints, health history, risk
factors, age and gender.
The unit arranges the necessary
consultations with the branch specialists.
ADR membership provides :
-Free physical examinations and free medical
counselling by the family doctors at MEDLAB
-Special discounts at laboratory tests ( % 30 )
-For medically indicated
cases, consultations with branch specialists at their private offices, only
with a contribution fee of
50 YTL to the ADR system paid at MEDLAB
ADR membership is just 125 YTL for one year’s
time.
There are more than 2.000 members of the system.
Notes:
-The physical examination fees of the specialists are paid by the ADR system.
-Procedures performed by the branch specialists other
than examinations are paid by the patients. (endoscopy, colonoscopy, EMG, EEG,
biopsy…)
-Members
can be consultated to each branch for once a year.
-For
indicated cases members can be consultated to all branch specialists (see
below), except neurosurgery, pediatrics, opthalmology and dental
diseases.
-Children below 12 years old can not be members.
-The system does not cover urgent cases and night calls. It is mainly for
general health control and follow ups.
